Needless to say, we can't sell these motorcycles directly from the website. If you're interested in purchasing one, contact us to make arrangements. Be sure to include the model and year of the bike you want in your message.

We are currently finishing the ultimate Vincent show bike for patient customer and famous Rhode Island maritime artist, J. MECRAY. John’s no-excuses approach fits right in with ours and together, we have done a Black Shadow to take on America’s best motorcycle concourse. You have to see it to really believe it. Capt. MECRAY has paid us two visits to help with this endeavor. Today, we’re on the final problem, perfect gear changes. Aside from this, look out.
Denver customer and long-time friend GENE BROWN has his Vincent street-equipped BLACK LIGHTNING waiting for its final touches and test miles. We tried to use some small, PIAA lamps instead of the traditional Miller lamp, but it just doesn’t look like what we wanted. A set of BLACK LIGHTNING clocks were installed and the drive added off the magneto end. We will add a somewhat more powerful battery to give us more time with the electric starter than we currently get. Finally, the racing carbs require some patient fine work. A little bit more clear was put on the fuel tank and that needs to be color sanded and buffed. Great bike!

Coming Soon: VINCENT BLACK SHADOW – THE BEAST |

Yes, a garage sale. I'm tripping over all the bikes here. You probably know the problem; easier to buy bikes than to sell them. All of these motorcycles are bikes from my own collection. Some have been in it forever and some only months. They are of a level of quality to suit me and I suspect they will do well for you. We are adding text as we go, and the White Hunter text doesn't apply, obviously. So, get these outta here before the wife gets really upset.
GARAGE SALE EXPANDS
Since the Garage Sale began, we’ve sold the BROUGH SUPERIORS. As well, we are adding some very exciting bikes for your consideration. You know my bikes are the real thing, run well and are the best you can get. These aren’t bargain basement bikes. What appreciates the very best are the top bikes, not fixer-uppers. Common bikes, shabby bikes, etc. are poor investments and aren’t the most fun to ride or to take to bike events either.
I’ll be adding extensive word descriptions and images for the following:
1962 MATCHLESS G50 CSR, ex-Sonny Angel of California, original and
matching engine and cycle parts. Of course, it's in TT racer form
and done in a never to be forgotten metal flake, candy apple red and
yellow paint job, by Sonny with scallops, etc. straight out of the
60’s. Reputed to have been raced by DON VESCO and CAL RAYBORN at the
beginning of their careers. Sonny Angel is a very important figure
in racing and only recently, CYCLE WORLD MAGAZINE featured his story
in their pages. The bike is all there, but needs the final assembly
work.
1952 VINCENT BLACK SHADOW, Series “C”, aka, “The MONTLHERY RECORD/VIETNAM BLACK
SHADOW” and utilizes a real live, unchanged and genuine factory
racing engine. Special everything and built as a backup engine to
the “standard” record breaking event bike at MONTLHERY, France in
1952. Several endurance records were shattered by Vincent which
wanted to show how fast their street bikes were. Tremendous history,
this bike is nearing completion in our shops. A superb and
historically important bike bound to be the top piece in any Vincent
collector’s or museum’s collection. It’s that good. Race carbs,
heads, crank, cams, etc., etc. It’s a Lightning in everything but
name as they were trying to play like any old regular Shadow could
run this fast, this long. A factory cheater bike if you will.
Needless to say, this one’s expensive, but should continue to
appreciate.
This genuine Z1 R TC is original, matching numbers and runs great. The mileage is super low,
the tool kit is there, the Kawasaki rider's handbook AND the Turbo supplement. Also, a
genuine factory sales brochure. Its all correct and complete. The engine has had a set of
turbo pistons about 1K very easy miles ago, a fresh set of good tires and a good clean up.
The chrome and paint are original to this almost 30 years old grandfather of all superbikes.
It is priced at $20,000 and is sold on a Texas Certificate of Title. It's the real deal and
not some junked out redo.
This motorcycle is the very first BLACK PRINCE ever built. As such, it was the same
motorcycle as was in all the press photos as the BLACK PRINCE that Vincent took to Earls
Court for the show in 1954 along with a Black Knight and a 500 in bodywork. These fully
enclosed were both a breakthrough to the future of motorcycles to come and the final
chapter in the production story for Vincent.
During WW II, design work began on the post-war Vincent twin. On 27th April, 1946, the
unpainted fuel tank arrived and was installed on F10AC/1X/1 so that PCV and others could
ride it for the first time. Arthur Bourne of “Motor Cycle” then gave it a test spin before
returning to write the first words about the new Vincent.
