Is a fake any motorcycle of which a significant portion has been replaced? I don't think so. I would consider a fake to be a bike intended to deceive a buyer into believing it's something it's not. If all main components are renumbered, that would be a fake. If one main component is renumbered to match, that may not be a fake, but it is a distant relative.
